I had been working in the parameter of "Tree" in this phrase. I had been exploring the space at "Soi Borommabanphot or  Golden mountain" focusing on the difference of tree's population  between the area of a temple and a household.

These are trees that have been categorized into 4 groups due to its shape of trunk, leaves and size.
My parameter is to study about the shape, the curveness in each type of trees so i built the device that helps me achieve my goal.

I have built the measuring ruler which has an ability to adjust its shape by the user's force to be curve, blend into the trunk's shape by not returning its own shape .

The video illustrated how the device works and how i created trunk's information.

I had measured "Banyan tree" which is the bigger tree and "Acacia tree". The reason why I chose these 2 because it's the least and the most tree that can be found in the area. There are only 3 Banyan tree in the area. In contrast, The are a plenty number of Acacia tree. It's very easy to be compared the size and the shape of the tree since Banyan is quite rare and contain much more curve on the trunk apart from Acacia which has a plenty number and looks like the regular tree on a side of a street , It also show how the difference of trunk it is even though it's the same type of tree but can be regonized but its curveness at the trunk.

I have placed the location of each type of tree by doing a section cut of a tree as you can see that Banyan tree has an extra root hanging down from the

Mapping Parameter

Site Analysis for a specific parameter
ANIMAL

Animal alone stands as a living organism that would
adapt itself accordingly in order to maintain it's cycled. What's unique is that
The animal can also cooperate with the diverse man-made ecosystem, this means Animals would
have their way of understanding.

DATA COLLECTION

- gathering information from a gap of 3 minute
- Understanding it's location and siting is also important
- Monitoring different situation from different time of the day
- Specified based on specific animal

SPECIFIC DEVICE

their counterpart. Fail in every attempt.

Parameter

pollution

Site

songwat and khaolam road

In the first phase, we have to analyze the location required in the brief, Songwat and Khaolam road. By studying the human behavior geographically.

individual map

To collect the data about pollution, I went to Songwat road and capture dust on 20 different cotton pads for 20 different polls around the area. This way, I can understand and be able to differentiate the density of pollution in each sois.

documentation

This is the outcome of my research. In the documentation paper shows the cotton pads and all the polls that has been wiped. It also shows the average color of dust in each pads. To see the dissimilarity in color. The result comes to show that the dust on the main road is darker in color and appears much more compared to the narrow.

final device

This hand controlling device is done to capture and distribute the dust equally on to the pads. I also did a build-in ruler to help guide and put the wiping action to the limitation of 30 centimeters.

PROJECT 1 :SITUATION
1.1 LIGHT

For the first project, we have to study about human behavior in
the geographical effects and spatial quality
and the parameter that i choose was "light" in Chinatown

INDIVIDUAL MAP
I started research in 3 different places at 11.00 and 17.00

The first one is "Soi Charoen Panit"
This place is the darkest place because of tall buildings
on both sides and there is narrow street.
So, the shadow of the building covered all of the street.
As a result, many food sales here that make many people
enjoy to walk around here.

The second place is "Charoen Krung Road"
There is medium sunny and lots of trees around
So, people use the shadow of tree to do activities ,for example, working,
sleeping ,sitting and smoking.

The third place is "Khao Lam Road"
This is the hottest place . There are no tall buildings and trees around here.
So, that make this place has less people.

As you can see, everyone uses the shadows of things, whether from trees or umbrellas and building, to work on them. I was wondering if the direction of light is changing. For example, in the morning sunrise in the east. In the evening, the sun will move to the west. Did they have to move follow the shadow? So I went to ask them. Some of them said they will open the umbrella when it is sunny. But most of them will make a huge umbrella, In order to protect it light at any time.

DEVICES

I decide to use 2 devices myself and a box.

For my first device I want to study the size , color and
the angle of shadow and sunlight. So i found that the sun is

away from me in a very small degree, it will make the shadow shorter and fatter. Conversely, if the sun away form me large degree the shadow will long and thin.

My second device, A box i want to see the direction and size of light at each moment. So I created this box and punched it in the square. And stick to a table of equal size. To measure the size and shape of the light.

PHASE II

We were given to redesign a space from our latest matrix. To uncover the main element which we can help us to construct a certain enviroment that serve the condition.  The drawing will focus on the plan and section.
